THE TIMBER USED

THE HEATING SYSTEM

The timber used for the building of these homes is Spruce which is subject to re-forestation. Spruce was chosen because of its longevity, its ability to resist heat and cold, and with the insulation in place carries a ‘U’ value of 0.22

Our suggested heating system would be a Direct Current Inverter. In laymans terms, this is a simple hot air blower which is extremely cost effective to run as a heat source in winter and as an air conditioning system in the warm weather.

The panels which make up any building are easily put together either by D.I.Y. or qualified tradesmen.

The panel system building can be erected very quickly, i.e. a two bedroom bungalow can be erected on footings in approx. 8 days.

The heating unit contains 12 bio-enzyme filters which give you the best possible introduction of air into a household, and for every 1 KW of electricity used, it supplies 3.5 KW of heat which in turn cuts the use of electricity by approx. 70%.

This heating and air conditioning system has won the International Forum Design award.
